Fascinated by the repetitive nature of commercial imagery and by how we experience food, I began a series of photographs of all the food and groceries I brought over 17 days. The full series of 17 Days of Shopping grew to to 95 images and is in the collection of the Waikato Museum.

In 2000 an extract of 16 images from the series appeared in Sport magazine no 25.
